This position is responsible for supplying spotless, sanitized dishes to the dining room and clean kitchen utensils for the cooks. This position requires the employee to operate the dish machine using appropriate supplies and procedures.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
- Responsible for washing dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using dish machine or by hand if necessary.
- Responsible for busing, sorting and racking dishes.
- Responsible for placing clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.
- Responsible for cleaning the kitchen at the end of the day including hood, filters and other appliances.
- Responsible for emptying trash in dish room and kitchen area.
- Responsible for cleaning the dining room, bar, office, lockers and storage areas.
- Responsible for cleanliness of the dish area and kitchen throughout the shift.
- Any other work as assigned by the manager or chef.
